Learn how to solve the Monolith Crown puzzle in Crimson Desert by rotating a cube to position lasers into their proper orientation. Follow this guide to solve the puzzle in 5 steps.

How to reach Monolith Crown

After completing the Spire of Soaring and defeating Draven the Crowcaller, use the Skybridge on the southwest corner of Crow’s Nest to be teleported to Monolith Crown.

When you enter the structure, you’ll see a cube made of grates holding lasers, and yellow nodes along the walls. The goal for this puzzle is to rotate the cube to let gravity shift the lasers, then reorient the cube to the lasers hit the nodes.

How to solve the puzzle

To rotate the cube, you’ll need to go to the north side of the platform where the obelisk is. Look to the left and below, you’ll find a platform with a light shining on a switch. Jump down and use Axiom Force on the switch to gain control of the cube.

The camera will pan to the cube and you’ll be facing south. Rotate the cube clockwise (left) twice.

Then you’ll want to rotate the cube down once. Be sure to let gravity move the lasers before continuing each step.

Rotate the camera 180° so you’re now facing north. Rotate the cube up once, then down once. This will light up all the nodes and solve the puzzle. Activate the large switch that’s powered up and pick up the Abyss Artifact.

Here is the summary of the steps in short:

  1. Rotate the cube clockwise (left) twice.
  2. Rotate the cube down once.
  3. Rotate the camera 180°.
  4. Rotate the cube up once.
  5. Rotate the cube down once.

Loot the hidden Treasure Chest

Activate the Skybridge and look for the large, horizontal column to the east. You’ll find a stone hollow cube on one end. Pull out a power core from your Kuku Pot and place it on there to open a secret entrance.

The exact type of power core used doesn’t matter, so long as it’s the kind that are capable of floating on their own.

Hop down into the column and you’ll find a Treasure Chest containing a Faded Abyss Artifact and a Vigor III Abyss Gear (grants +6% Stamina Regeneration).

You’ll find another hollow cube in here that you can place a power core into, it just opens an exist. You can just leave the way you came in. The teleporter at the end of the Skybridge will return you to the Crescent Skybridge.
