Learn how to complete the Mount Benus Ancient Ruins Puzzle in Crimson Desert. You need to time your movement and avoid any hazards between you and the Abyss Cresset for this challenge.
Where to find Mount Benus Ancient Ruins
Mount Benus Ancient Ruins can be found in southeast Delessyia. It’s southeast of the Gate to Advancement and northwest of the Sanctum of Faith.

Solving the “Red Light, Green Light” Puzzle
Before starting this challenge, you’ll need to clear the area. There are numerous obstacles such as enemies, brambles, bismuth, falling debris, etc. Once it’s all cleared and safe, you can proceed.
This overgrown area has a large cloaked statue at the end of it. Towards the east of the ruins are three square brick formations in the ground. Stand on these to raise the statue ahead to start the challenge.

This is a game of “Red Light, Green Light”. The statue at the end will occasionally look back towards then then look away.
To win, you’ll need to reach the Abyss Cresset that spawns near the statue without it noticing you moving. If its eyes turn red, you have failed and will have to restart. Move only when the statue’s head is not facing you.
Walk or jog your way to the statue, but avoid running or sprinting. The wind down animation from running or sprinting can cause you to fail and restart the game.

Reward and Chest
After besting the challenge, you’ll activate the Abyss Cresset for an Abyss Artifact and Fast Travel Point. To the right of the statue is a small chest with random loot. You also have Garnet Ore Veins to the north and south of this location. Be sure to mine those before continuing to your next adventure!
