Learn how to complete the Timberdale Ancient Ruins Puzzle in Crimson Desert. These ancient ruins require you to redirect power with pushable tiles, but the trick is knowing which tiles to push.
There are two similar puzzles located not far from each other. If you are looking for the Timberdale Gorge Ancient Ruins puzzle, we have a guide for it as well. It has the same mechanics as the one you are currently reading a guide for, but is semi-submerged under water.
Where to find the Timberdale Ancient Ruins
The Timberdale Ancient Ruins is found on the northern area of Delessyia’s west coast. It’s west of the Dewhaven Logging Camp and east of Jijeong Temple. The entrance will be covered in thorns, so burn them away to get started on the puzzle.

Solve the Switch Puzzle
There are various tiles that are either depressed or protruding. Using Force Palm, Force Current, or Focused Shot on a protruding tile will press it in and activate other tiles in cardinal directions.
Force Current is recommended for this puzzle as Focused Shot may activate too many tiles with its power.
If at any point you mess up the tile puzzle, an easy way to reset it is to travel to a nearby Abyss Nexus. There’s one a couple hundred meters southeast of the puzzle.
South Wall Solution
For the first wall towards the south, press the third tile from the left to let the power flow to the second wall facing west.

West Wall Solution
The second wall has a 3×3 tile pattern. Activate the top right, middle right, then bottom middle tiles to move the power flow to the east wall.

East Wall Solution
The final wall will have a 5×3 tile pattern. Activate the top center tile, then tile to the left of it. Activate the tile in the middle of the wall, then the last tile is to the right of the first tile you’ve activated.

Reward and Chest
You’ll activate an Abyss Cresset to get an artifact and a fast travel point as a reward for completing this puzzle. A short trip north will lead you to a pond with a small chest containing random loot. Look for the roots popping out of the ground near the pond.
