This guide will show you how to solve the Stone Blocks puzzle at Five-Finger Mountain in Pailune, in Crimson Desert. After you arrange the blocks in the proper order, you will earn an Abyss Artifact.
Where to find the Ruins
You will find the ruins in the Five-Finger Mountain area in Pailune. The location is directly west from the Abyss Cresset at Cloister of Ruination.

How to Clear the Ice and Water
Before you can move the stone blocks, you must clear the ice and water from the pool. Use Aerial Force Palm or kneel and do a normal Force Palm to break the ice.
On the south side, you will find a hole that has frozen up. Use Force Palm on it again to break the ice so the water can spill out form the pool with the stone blocks into the smaller pool.
How to solve the Stone Blocks Puzzle
This puzzle requires you to use the Stab ability. You only need its basic version. You will use it to pull the stone blocks. This puzzle is very similar to the Deepfog Basin Ruins puzzle in Hernand.
When it comes to pushing, you can do that by just walking up to the blocks. Pushing is faster than pulling. To speed up the process, you can use the modifier key (default SHIFT on keyboard, X on controllers. Note that this uses Stamina.
There are six movable stone blocks. Your goal is to arrange them in the proper order to match the bottom part and restore the stone fresco (image).
There are multiple variants to solving this puzzle. I will share what I found to be the best and quickest. To make it easier, I’ve numbered the blocks, as follows:
1 = Block with red on top and left.
2 = Block with red on right.
3 = Block with red on top and right.
4 = Block with red on top.
5 = Block with red on left.
6 = Block with human figure.
I use relative positions determined by the character’s position standing on the south side of the puzzle, facing the stone dragon on the wall. “Top” is where the the dragon is.
Follow these steps and move the stone blocks along to achieve the desired final result:
- Move Block 5 to bottom left.
- Move Block 3 to top right.
- Move Block 2 to middle right.
- Move Block 4 to top middle.
- Move Block 5 to middle left.
- Move Block 6 to middle.
Reward
When the puzzle is complete, the blocks will turn into a flat image of a human warrior kneeling before an Abyss Cresset. This will open the stone door in the wall below the stone dragon. Inside, you will find an Abyss Cresset with an Abyss Artifact.
