Additional Info
- How to Trigger it: Howling of Chaos triggers when you successfully parry an attack while the equipment it is slotted into is equipped. The shockwave spreads out around you, and Confused enemies attack erratically, sometimes striking their own allies.
- Cost Considerations: Like other skill-modifying gears, it raises the resource cost of the move every time it triggers. It deals little damage on its own, and Confusion doesn’t work on every boss.
- Related Abyss Gears: Earthrending Strike and Lightning God’s Affliction also trigger from a successful parry.
- Recommended Use: Best on parry and sword-and-shield builds when you’re outnumbered, where one well-timed block turns a whole group against itself while you focus on the most dangerous target.
