How to Obtain
The Sotdae of Bond is a reward from the Trembling Woods faction questline. To start it, head to the hidden Pororin village, in the southeast of the Hernand region, and try to walk in. The guards will knock you out with sleep darts. After the third time, the quest will start.
Complete the Authorized Access quest, which ends with retrieving the Pororin Relic from the top of a walking tree and bringing it back to Arkin, and he’ll give you the Sotdae of Bond.
If you completed Authorized Access before patch 1.04.00, you didn’t miss it. The Sotdae of Bond will appear for you when you first log in to the game after updating it.

How to Use
Select the Sotdae of Bond in your inventory and place it on the ground, the same way you’d place a banner. Stand next to it to fill it with food from your inventory. Birds that like that food will come to eat, and each visit raises their Trust until you can tame them.
The region decides which birds show up, and each species has its own tastes. Food sold by the local grocers is a good place to start. Before leaving, pick the Sotdae back up.
How to recover it if you lose it
If you walk away and leave it behind, the Sotdae is added to your recoverable items. Talk to Carl at Greymane Camp, choose Manage Provisions, then Recover Items, and buy it back for 1 Silver.
Empty out any other food before you set it up for a specific bird. Otherwise, common birds like pigeons may eat it first.
Some special birds need specific offerings. The Iron Eagle is tamed fastest with a single Platinum Bar, and the Phoenix has its own requirements, covered in our guide.
