Ancient Retribution is a skill-modifying Abyss Gear tied to Spinning Slash: when you use that skill, an ancient sentry fires projectiles from above onto your targets.
- How to Trigger it: Land hits while your weapon is imbued with Wind. The Wind imbue skill must already be unlocked in your skill tree, as the Abyss Gear does not unlock it for you.
- Cost Considerations: Skill-modifying Abyss Gears increase the Stamina or Spirit cost of the skill they are tied to, and the cost adds up when you stack several on the same skill.
- Same-Skill Choices: Pillar of Wind also triggers on wind-imbued hits.
- Recommended Use: Best against groups of enemies standing close together, where the vortex can damage several targets at once.
