Grants a variety of effects when embedded in an equipment socket. Witches found in each region have the power to embed or remove Abyss gears.
How to Obtain
- You can use a Witch to synthesize two Destruction I into one Destruction II.
- You can extract it from other items and place it onto your currently equipped gear.
- You earn Destruction II from the Sword of Trials VI, one of the Sword Challenges, which you can unlock by obtaining Sealed Abyss Artifacts.
- You will receive this Abyss Gear as reward for completing the Two-Handed Weapon challenge Ground-Shaking Impact III, which you can unlock by obtaining Sealed Abyss Artifacts.
- You will receive this Abyss Gear as reward for completing the Battle challenge Sinking Fort, which you can unlock by obtaining Sealed Abyss Artifacts.
- You will receive this Abyss Gear as reward for completing the Operation challenges End of the Shadow and Hidden Banner Pike, which you can unlock by obtaining Sealed Abyss Artifacts.

- How to Trigger it: Destruction II is a passive bonus. It applies automatically to attacks made with the equipment it is slotted into.
- Cost Considerations: It is not tied to a skill, so it adds no extra Stamina or Spirit cost. On a weapon, the bonus only works while that weapon is your active one; on gloves and footwear, it applies to your unarmed punches and kicks.
- Related Abyss Gears: Insight raises your Critical Rate and Swift raises your Attack Speed in the same way.
- Recommended Use: Best on the weapon you deal most of your damage with, as it works against every enemy type. Put it on gloves and footwear only if you fight unarmed.
