Sealed Abyss Artifacts are items awarded to you usually after completing a puzzle or a challenge in Crimson Desert. Once unsealed, they yield an Abyss Artifact, which you can spend to unlock a skill point or refine your gear.

How to Obtain
You’ll find Sealed Abyss Artifacts along the road or at Shrines. They’re a lot easier to get than their unsealed brethren, but you have to complete a Challenge before you can get the skill point.

In the early to mid-game it is completely normal to have a large stack of Sealed Abyss Artifacts sitting in your Inventory. They don’t take up space and you can group them up to make your inventory management easier.
A lot of the Sealed Abyss Artifacts are associated with challenges that may require a weapon, tool, or skill you haven’t unlocked first. Or are simply tasking you to cross the entire continent.
