Wild Ginseng is a rare medicinal herb. It restores health when processed through Alchemy and is a key item you need to unlock further progression through the Spirit Skill Tree.

Comes in various shapes and sizes with increasing value over time. Embraces the spirit of the forest within its roots. Often found in the mountains, except for Crimson Desert.
How to Obtain
You can collect Wild Ginseng in the nature from its plants, you can grow it yourself from seeds, and you can also purchase it from select vendors, located mostly in the mid-to-late game areas.
Harvest Plants
There are several locations, but the Longroots cave and Wayward Woods up in northern Pailune are both easy and quick locations to farm. You can stick something like Blessing of Nature III into your gear to increase the quantity of items gathered. After you teleport to the Abyss Nexus, the plants reset and you can come back for more. And if you have the Kuku Gardening Pack, collecting plants becomes much easier.
Longroots Cave
It’s a bit difficult to spot in the constant fog surrounding the area. From the Abyss Nexus at Longroots, in west Pailune, look to the east and jump down. Where you see a large fallen log on the ground, there is an entrance to a cave.
The cave is small and takes you right under the Nexus. There are three plants you can harvest on the left-hand side, all bundled together on the only part of the cave that is not under water.
Wayward Woods
A little bit further north from the first spot, northeast of the Longbranch marker on the map, there is an Abyss Nexus. From the Nexus, head east and jump or climb over the rocks to find yourself in a small alcove, surrounded by tall cliffs.

Additional Info
Upgrading your Spirit is blocked after Level 8 and you require Wild Ginseng to unlock it. It’s a one-time only use, so you don’t need to stock up on this material if you don’t need it for other purposes as well.
To continue upgrading your Spirit, you need to complete the Mysterious Energy of Wild Ginseng research at the Pororin Institute. And you can unlock Pororin by completing the Trembling Woods questline from the Pororin Forest Guardians Faction.
Wild Ginseng is a different item from regular Ginseng. Farming Wild Ginseng only ever grows more Wild Ginseng, so it won’t satisfy recipes that call for plain Ginseng.
Wild Ginseng is also an ingredient in a few alchemy recipes and you can also sell it to vendors. For a herb, its price is quite high, but it’s not easy to come by or produce, so your primary goal of collecting it, should not be for profit.
