Cogwheel is a mechanical crafting material in Crimson Desert. It’s used primarily for crafting Kuku items at Grimnir’s Kuku Shop, including your first mech, the Small Kuku A.T.A.G. You get it by defeating machine enemies.

A reliable source / location for this item.
A cogwheel which is a part of a machine. Its purpose remains unknown, but it can likely be sold at a shop.
How to Obtain
Several quests reward you with Cogwheels upon completion. But if you need large quantities of this item for some serious Kuku crafting, you can farm Cogwheels in Delesyia.
Farm Large Mechs
Cogwheels drop from the larger humanoid automatons (large mechs) that patrol Delesyia. A reliable spot is the road around Marni’s Laboratorium Gate, in the southeast of Delesyia near Marni’s Laboratorium. The machines are spread out along the path rather than grouped in a single camp.

Fast travel to the closest waypoint and drop down onto the road, then clear the machines as you walk the route. They attack at both close and long range, so close the distance on the larger ones instead of trading shots. Cogwheels land on the ground as loose loot and aren’t collected automatically, so pick them up after every fight.
Of course, for this farming spot (or any other) to work, you will need the area to be hostile or re-blockaded. If this spot is not currently occupied in your save, pick another major location. If Marni’s Laboratorium Gate route doesn’t suit you, the humanoid machines around the Coast Windmill Watchtower in Delesyia’s Eastern Hills drop Cogwheels too.

Additional Info
Cogwheels and Small Batteries come from the same group of machines. The larger automatons drop Cogwheels, and the small spherical ones drop Small Batteries, so one run covers both.
To respawn the machines, walk the same stretch of road again, or teleport to the nearest Abyss Nexus and come back.
