Golden Apple

There are several methods to obtain Golden Apples in Crimson Desert. By far the most efficient one, is the hunt hedgehogs carrying them. Alternatively, in some rare occasions, you can earn them as you max out the Trust of some NPCs, or as quest rewards.

Find Hedgehogs carrying Golden Apples

You can loot Golden Apples from the open world. There are a handful of areas where you will encounter Hedgehogs carrying a Golden Apple on their back.

The best and very easily accessible field where you can continuously spawn hedgehogs is this field just north of Tinkerton in central Delesyia. The location is directly north from the letter “S”.

Hedgehogs spawn out of the field with the green flowers. Walk through it back and forth, without running. All sorts of animals and critters will spawn each time you cross the field. When you spot a hedgehog carrying a Golden Apple on its back, use Blinding Flash to make it drop it on the ground, then pick it up.

Steal Golden Apples

You can steal Golden Apples from visitors at the Demeniss Wildlife Park. It is located south of Demeniss City and you will need a mask for that task. To see which visitor is carrying a Gold Bar, use your lantern or activate Blinding Flash.

To obtain the Gold Bar from a guest, you need to equip your mask as this is considered a Theft. Rush into them, while wearing the mask, then quickly press the button for Pickpocket (E on keyboard). When the bounty red circle appears, run outside. There is an Abyss Nexus placed at the northern end of the Wildlife Park where you can conveniently teleport and start the search again.

Receive Golden Apples as Gifts

You can get Golden Apples from NPCs by increasing their Trust in you. There are a few isolated cases where you may earn a Golden Apple as a reward for completing a quest.
