A plate cloak once worn by the Forgotten General who guarded Odeck. Layered silver pauldrons cover the shoulders, while the deep crimson cloak falls long behind the back, preserving the general’s authority. Even after being sealed within the deep valley, it remains remarkably resistant to rust. Standing near it, one can feel the weight of the age-old vow.

The Odeck’s Protector Plate Cloak is just lying around on the ground in Frostwind Cave along the main road into Pailune City from the south.
The entrance to the large chamber is not a normal cave entrance despite there being one nearby. There’s a ladder nestled between some of Pailune’s signature redwood spike fences near a broken wagon downhill from the cave.
Once you climb down the ladder, you’ll find a multi-level labyrinth littered with way too many Black Bears for anyone’s good. The cloak is on the entrance/exit level in a room accessible from the corner to the left of the stairs from the entrance/exit ladder.
