A light and flexible feather obtained from bird plumage. Because it tends to flow with the current of air, it has become a popular ornament symbolizing flight and freedom.
How to Obtain
Skinning Birds
You get Feathers by hunting birds. Any species drops them, and birds live everywhere, from the woods of Hernand to the peaks of Pailune and the deserts. There’s no single best spot, so shoot every bird you see while you travel. There are usually flocks around rivers and lakes.
Keep a bow ready, since birds take off the moment they sense you. Perched birds and birds on open ground are the easiest targets.
For late-game “farming” of this material, the eastern Crimson Desert, near the Rockshade Bandit Camp, is full of several types of animals and birds.

Additional Info
You only need Feathers from Level 5 to Level 9. Buying out the Provisioner’s daily stock is the quickest way to cover a whole cloth set.
- Cloth headgear: 60
- Cloth chest armor: 80
Don’t confuse Feather with Harpy Feather. That’s a separate material that drops only from harpies in Pailune.
To maximize your efforts, make sure you have a separate equipment specifically for farming materials and remember to place something like Blessing of the Beast in it. Get your hands on one of the daggers that provide an additional chance to skin extra materials:
