How to Obtain

Kliff uses the Freesword’s Shield, which you can craft with the recipe from Shields of the World, Vol. III. You can steal it from the main room on the top floor of the residential part of Calphade Castle in Hernand. You’ll need to complete Chapter IV: Cracks in the Shield before you can get it.

Did you know that there are accessible upper floors in that castle? I missed it the first time…and the second. The entrance is right next to the door to the room where you fight Cassius Morten.
