A bluish ore known as azurite, or blue gemstone. Beloved by nobles for its sea-like hue, a tradition holds that it helps bind the body and mind. Rarely found throughout Pywel, scattered across the desert in veins.

How to Obtain

Azurite is plentiful in the Crimson Desert region (especially on the west side, along the Saltroad), but you can find exposed veins on the cliffs of Hernand as well, so you can craft or upgrade your starter gear more easily. You will find it in exposed veins on rocks as well as in caves.

How to Mine Azurite

As you explore the open world, you will stumble on exposed veins in the cliffs. They will immediately be marked on your map. The same applies for Azurite resources hidden inside caves.

Where to find Azurite

A great farming spot is the main road through the northern Crimson Desert leading to Varnia. A row of Azurite deposits lines the road, so you can mine them one after another in a single trip.

Azurite nodes Saltroad Map

You will find plenty of nodes in the Crimson Soul Cave, located on the edge of Burhum, in the Tashkalp Territory. From the Abyss Nexus, head southwest and drop down right before the first buildings to find the entrance to the cave.

You can mine everything and quickly teleport back to the Abyss Nexus, then return to mine again. The Azurite nodes will respawn.

How to Collect Azurite

Make sure you have a Pickaxe in your Inventory. Open the Weapons Wheel and choose an appropriate tool for the job.

Tools Slot in the Weapons Menu

Aim at the vein and when you see the blue mark, hit the attack button.

Secret Farming Island

There is a small island in the middle of a pool of water in northern Delesyia – Stoneback Crab Wetlands. This is a location you will visit during a side quest from the Redfox Trading Company faction quests in Delesyia for the Lake Stoneback Crab questline involving an interesting boss fight against the Queen Stoneback Crab boss.

This island is incredibly rich in several types of ore you can mine, including Iron Ore, Copper Ore, Scolecite Ore, Garnet, and Azurite. And the best part is that you can teleport to the nearby Abyss Nexus on the south side of this small island and return to farm again. The nodes respawn. There are various plants and bugs you can catch nearby as well.

Additional Info

If you can get your hands on an Upgraded Mining Tools, you will get better results. You can use any of the following tools that are considered better than the standard pickaxe and definitely better than Force Palm:

You can slot something like Blessing of the Earth Abyss Gear into your equipment to further increase the quantity of the obtained material.

Azurite can’t replace the other jewelry gems. If an upgrade asks for Azurite, Epidote or Garnet won’t do, so keep some of each.
